When Running becomes a Pleasure: On x Pleasures Athens Release Celebration

What happens when you mix high-performance Swiss engineering with the bold, subcultural aesthetic of Los Angeles? You get the On x Pleasures collaboration—and we knew we had to celebrate its arrival in Athens with something special.

Last week, Ministry Of Concrete joined forces with On to host a release event that was equal parts sweat and celebration. We didn’t just want to show off the new capsule collection; we wanted to put it to the test on the unpredictable streets of our city.

The Route: 8km of Athens Grit

The evening kicked off at our Ministry Of Concrete store in Syntagma Square. The energy was high from the jump as a diverse crew gathered—ranging from pro runners to local "doers" and bright personalities from across the city.

But this wasn't your average jog in the park. We designed a "nasty" 8km circuit that showcased the real Athens. The pack had to navigate:

• Stair-ups that tested everyone’s glutes.

• Challenging uphills through the urban landscape.

• Fast downhills leading toward our final destination.

Watching the group charge through the city, with the On x Pleasures gear standing out against the Athenian sunset, was a sight to behold.

The Finish Line: Lot51 & Time Flies

After burning through 8 kilometers of concrete, the crew arrived at Lot51 at Brasil Square. The exhaustion quickly turned into euphoria as the afterparty kicked into gear.

The rewards for the "nasty" circuit were waiting: cold beers, great food, and the perfect atmosphere to cool down. The vibes were curated by the Time Flies crew, who kept the music spinning late into the night.

A Collaboration of Culture

The On x Pleasures capsule is all about blurring the lines between technical performance and streetwear culture. Seeing pro runners and street-style icons finishing the race together perfectly captured the spirit of the collection—and the spirit of Ministry Of Concrete.
